It’s great when you can battle like a superhero and beat everyone in games. But wouldn’t it be pleasant to impress people not only online, but in real life too? If you are already a fan of an active lifestyle, or have just decided to start a new life on Monday/New Year/your birthday etc., some health and fitness tips below will come in handy for you. 

The number of workouts per week should be based on your initial fitness level and goals. For most people, an acceptable option is 3-4 workouts per week. During breaks, it is important to give proper rest to the muscles and nervous system. Try to listen to your body so as not to overtrain.

If you have set your goals and want to train 5 times a week or daily, go ahead! But you can give all your best at full power under intense loads only 1-2 times a week.

Sports experts advise beginners to exercise 2-3 times a week and focus on a comprehensive training of all the muscles in the body with each workout. Experienced fitness enthusiasts should train more often — from 3 to 5 times a week, and work out all muscle groups during training. The days of intensive loads should be alternated with days of rest for recovery.

If you don’t have time to go to the gym, that’s no reason to give up. Using some fitness accessories, you can train at home! Crossfit resistance bands or an indoor fitness sit up exerciser take up little space, but are very effective for home training.

And last, but not least: remember to drink plenty of water. If you always forget about it, you can use some apps reminding you to take a sip of water and stay hydrated. Besides, you can place a large capacity water bottle in a prominent position on your desk. It will remind you to drink enough water throughout the day.
